I'll go ahead and say it - Paizo's Bestiary 2 is the Fiend Folio of the Pathfinder RPG. I guess they're close Pages 4-21 explain how to read a monster's write-up, but the information is complete enough that it could probably be used for making monsters too (a laborious task in 3.X). Paizo released this pamphlet as a preview of the Pathfinder Bestiary on Free RPG Day 2009. And so I've compiled a list of Dungeons and Dragons supplements (mostly 3.5 but some are D&D 3.0) which I feel work best with the Pathfinder role playing game. The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: NPC Codex is a first for Paizo—a 320-page Bestiary-style book full of NPC stat blocks instead of monsters. Here, for your viewing pleasure, are my thoughts on the Pathfinder Bestiary by Paizo Publishing. Chapter 3 presents characters of levels 1–10 for each of the five NPC classes. I'm gonna be What I see here is a good RPG book, not a great RPG book. I'll say this - they did a great job of marrying that concept to the conciseness of the D&D 3.X core rulebooks.
